Stardew Valley Farm Planner

Stardew Valley has graced our screens since 2016, and in that time we’ve got to grips with all the best tools and harvested every crop under the sun. When it comes to farming, there is a lot of skill and creativity. You can make it more efficient and elegant, or you can create a warm and inviting atmosphere. No matter what your taste may be, there are many farm designs that will inspire you.

Industrial Stone

For those who just want some plain old efficiency, this farm layout is based on producing resources as much as possible in the most compact way. It may not look very appealing, but it serves a purpose. The middle is reserved for crops and trees. This ensures there’s steady income from crop yields and a steady supply of wood. Although animals don’t have much freedom, the layout is sure to allow players to maximize their profits quickly.

Deep Forest Farm

The deep forest farm provides a natural and lush environment. But, it can also take away valuable space necessary to make the most efficient and largest farm possible. There are still options to make it work. The crops are located in the center of the room, neatly organized wherever space allows.

The rest of this space is used for creating natural enclosures to house the farm animals. The line between the paved paths in front the barns and the grasslands behind them ensures that there is a distinction between natural and organizational space. These two styles are able to coexist in this particular layout.

Crops Central

This layout puts the original focus of any farm at the center of everything: crops. This makes it easy to identify the various types by organizing them into neat, symmetrical parts. To make the most of the Standard Farm’s tillable land, you can put iridium irrigation sprinklers in use. You will be able to produce more profitably from your farm.

Place barns or coops on top of the map so you can house livestock while keeping the emphasis on the crops. The sheds at the bottom of the map can house preserve jars or kegs. They act as little breweries. With your trusted steed, you can also quickly access the town from the stable next to the entrance.

Flowery Forest

This Forest Farm variant is visually pleasing and still highly efficient. The rectangular plots are perfect for growing crops. The little flower patch at the bottom is also complemented by the bee houses, allowing you to make flavored honey throughout the year (apart from Winter). The windmill works nicely as a central feature as well. It’s a good idea to put the sheds along either side of your greenhouse. This makes it quick and easy for you to transport year-round crops to the kegs/jars indoors.

Varied and Organized

This Standard Farm layout has been divided clearly and nicely. The ‘orchard’ or fruit tree section in the bottom-left corner is a great addition, with plenty of trees to make the most of each season’s harvestable fruit.

Because the barn and the coop share a large enclosure in their top-left, large animals or coop animals can be in the space at the same time, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. You can farm squarely on the right side with 24 squares per crop.

Crystal Maze

Check out this example of the Hill-top farm map. The shed is an excellent addition to the South-West Hilltop. This leaves plenty of space for rock and nodes to spawn to mine. The mythical atmosphere is created by the stone floor and crystal floor that covers the area.

The vineyard area in bottom-left corner works well. The sprinklers allow for several columns of crops, with enough space to run between them to harvest. It is possible to create a small crops area by scarecrows sharing space with the crops.

Riverland Paradise

When it comes to the Riverland option of all the farm maps, space for crops is more limited, so this design is a great solution. A few islands are designated for fruit trees while others can be used to grow a variety of crops. The bee houses are tightly arranged to allow easy honey collection and space for the Slime Hutch to grow Slimes and harvest Slime Balls.

Greener Pastures

This layout is definitely a more green plan than the Standard farm. The scarecrows that can be collected are placed in the middle of the farm to display them, while only the crops will be grown.

The Crystalariums match the Slime Hutch in color scheme, and the amount makes for a whole lot of gem replicating. To facilitate organization, the barn is separate from the coop and they are placed in different parts of the map. The sheds can also be used to store cheese and mayonnaise.

Rural Brewery

This layout is all profit. The perfect lines of perfectly-organized fruit trees will produce plenty and can be put into the massive kegs that are arranged at top.

This allows for maximum earnings, as kegs, when they’re done fermenting, will produce wines and juices, making far more money than the original crops. The farm’s design is pleasing to the eye, with the exception of furnaces and bait bins that are located at the extreme edge of the map. It’s both efficient and attractive.
